How to Reach

The primary gateway is Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair, which is well-connected by direct flights from major Indian cities like Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Delhi. For the adventurous, passenger ships also operate from Chennai, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam, taking about 3-4 days to reach.

Note for Travelers: Indian citizens do not require a passport or permit to visit most parts of the Andaman Islands. However, international travelers will require a valid Visa and may need a Restricted Area Permit (RAP) for certain locations.
